Steamed Hanwoo Brisket Chive Rolls

Recipe Ingredients
  • Basic Ingredients 300g beef brisket (chadolbagi)  A handful of garlic chives  1/4 head of napa cabbage 
  • Sauce 2 tablespoons soy sauce  1 tablespoon citron marmalade (yuja-cheong)  1 tablespoon lemon juice 

Cook Order

  • 1.  Remove any residual blood from the beef brisket slices.
  • 2.  Cut the garlic chives to match the length of the beef slices. Roughly chop the cabbage. Place the chives on top of the beef and roll them up.
  • 3.  In a steamer, layer the mung bean sprouts, cabbage, and bok choy, then place the beef rolls on top. Steam for about 5 minutes.
  • 4.  Finely chop the green and red chili peppers and mix them with the soy sauce mixture. Serve with the steamed beef rolls.
