Cook Order
1. Finely chop the Hanwoo round and marinate it with half of a juiced onion. Store in the refrigerator.
2. Take out the marinated beef and knead it well to ensure the seasoning is fully absorbed.
3. In a preheated pan, add olive oil and sauté the remaining half of the chopped onion until translucent. Then, add chopped shiitake mushrooms, salt, and pepper, and continue sautéing.
4. Spread out Step 2's beef in the pan and cook thoroughly without moisture until evenly browned. Let it cool slightly.
5. Fill the bao buns with Step 3 and Step 4’s mixture, then toast in a preheated oven until the surface becomes lightly crisp.
6. Add the gochujang mayo sauce and top with chopped scallions and sliced perilla leaves before serving.
